Implications: Analysis of KLF1 binding to gene body of ZBTB7A

We next performed ChIP sequencing (ChIP-Seq) experiments in both mouse cell lines to determine whether KLF1 binds directly to the ZBTB7A promoter.

In mouse contexts, we identified the ZBTB7A promoter as one of the most highly enriched KLF1 peaks.

This Figure shows KLF1 enrichment across the gene body of Zbtb7a. zooming in, KLF1 enrichment at the promoter region of Zbtb7a, showing the conserved CACCC and GATA consensus sequences in pink and gray, respectively

Fig. 14: KLF1 peaks are much larger at the promoter region of Zbtb7a .
