Experiment: Next Generation Sequencing process

After preparing DNA by adding adapters and amplifying it. The Adapter-Modified DNA can be sequenced by a machine called HiSeq 2500 (Illumina). This machine is high-throughput sequencing system that synthesize/read DNA by nucleotide.

After reading the sequence of the DNA fragments, The sequence analysis program will map the obtained sequences to the genome database and give a report on where the precipitated DNA are located.

The locations of the precipitated DNA indicate the location where KLF1 was binding in the genome when the cells are collected.
