The Molten Salt Research Group works within both the Radiochemistry & Laser Spectroscopy Laboratories. The research focus is on the chemical and electrochemical separation of used nuclear fuel through multicomponent molten salt system in a controlled environment, along with elemental detection usingmass spectrometry and novel laser spectroscopy techniques.
