Experiment: Quality Control Check of Meta-Interactome Against Yeast-2-Hybrid

To evaluate the predictive power of the initial experiment, a quality control check was run to re-test the experiment. 80% of functionally annotated proteins were randomly selected 1000 times to predict the remaining 20% in each run. From results, determined receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves and were able to obtain the accuracy of the test by determining the area under the ROC curve. ROC curves are used to find how accurate a testing method is by measuring the true positive rate against the false positive rate.
