About me I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Virginia Commonwealth University. I founded and lead the Mobile Systems and Intelligent Communication (MuSIC) Lab. I received my M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the Department
of Computer Science, University of
Maryland, College Park. Before VCU, I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and the Interdisciplinary Program Director of the ODU Center for Cybersecurity Education and Research
at Old Dominion University. I was also a research scientist at Siemens
Corporate Technology in Princeton, NJ, USA. My research interests
cover several aspects of
wireless networking and mobile computing systems including smart
wireless systems, mobile & edge computing, software-defined
networks, network security and privacy, Internet-of-things & smart
city systems, vehicular networks, intelligent transportation systems,
