Combining SAS data sets
There are a number of typical data management tasks. Three typical task are these:

• Combining two data sets with the same variables but different observations.
  
• Combining two data sets with different variables but the same observations.
  
• Creating a data set that is a subset of another data set, pulling off selected observations and/or variables.
