Annotated Readings
Students will select and annotate three
readings from the Web in addition to assigned readings. These
annotated readings will be added by the instructor to the course
Web. Each annotation should include a brief summary, a brief critique,
and a brief justification for selection.
Annotation Style
Let's keep the annotations fairly
simple. Submit by email as text or attachment.

F2F and Online Participation
Students will discuss and present readings and
responses to other participants in F2F and online discussions.
50% Final
Project
Students will product a final project equivalent
to an 8 page paper with a cover memo detailing process. I hope the
subject matter of the course suggests my openness to your suggesting a
final project that strays from the conventional; still, it must be
grounded in such a way that I can evaluate it and your work. Give me
a pitch. We'll discuss the details. All final projects must be
pre-approved.
