- Musictheory.net - this may be the most popular music theory website on the internet. Excellent lessons and trainers for learning and drilling basic theory skills.
- Emusictheory.com - a number of drill programs and interactive sections that offer students an alternate way to explore music theory fundamentals.
- Practicespot.com - many resources, particularly for piano. Lots of theory worksheets, but no answer sheets.
- IV-V-I - website where you can learn about and purchase a very fun and instructive game that will help you understand harmonic relationships better and provide everyone a lot of laughs.
- Teoria.com - it's a little cheesy looking, but it has a few good ear-training exercises.
- Music Theory Minute - short video lessons - you might like them!
- Music at ZZounds - a little confusing because of the many links to other pages, but lots of information.
- Classical Music Library - streaming audio of thousands of classical pieces! Free for VCU students. Non-VCU students click here and try the 15-day free trial.
- Ruckus - also free for VCU students, but featuring popular music (rock).
