The following are a collection of online documents relating to my/our research at SPNL or VIPBG, or other stuff that may be useful or interesting to someone out there in cyberspace (anyone?).

DT.pdf A paper on the fundamentals of diffusion weighted and diffusion tensor imaging, a fascinitating "new" technique that allows visualization of the directionality of white matter fibers in the brain. I wrote this for my medical imaging class in 1999ish. The target audience is for undergraduate students with some experience with imaging and limited knowledge of MRI physics. In other words, most people will either not understand it at all, or alternatively find it obvious and stupid.

WMS volumetric study An introduction to Williams syndrome, and a summary of our first study.

WMS shape analysis A summary of our first study of cerebral shape in Williams syndrome.

The Dog Song A sound byte of a person with Williams syndrome singing a song, recorded by Dr. Dan Levitin, a friend and former mentor.
