Art Scholars

David Bromley, a Kecoughtan High School student,
won second place and a $500 scholarship to the
art school of his choice in the Peninsula Exchange Club's
annual scholarship contest.

The third place scholarship went to Terry Alan James.
Both students of Cheryl M. Carter,
they received their awards at a recent banquet at
Hampton Holiday Inn.

The scholarships are funded through proceeds from the club's annual Buckroe Beach Sidewalk Art Show, held in August.
