POSTER PROJECT ASSIGNMENT
The poster project assignment gave us an opportunity to create a poster out of a picture. I used a picture of my son at age 7 and placed him in an apple tree. The original picture of my son was taken to highlight the fact that he was about to lose his 2nd front tooth. I originally thought of placing his picture with some picture of an apple, since apple eating seemed to be a good method of removing that stubborn tooth. As my idea evolved, I selected an apple tree and cropped his face so that it could be manipulated to look like he was hanging from the tree's branches. In the end, I felt the picture was more of an advertisement for the joys of being young, loose teeth and all, than a specific commentary on the use of apples for helping to remove a loose tooth.
