The following are Finite Math tests I gave in Fall 2000. Blank
test appear on the left, and their solved counterparts are on the right. Remember
that it's best not to look at the solutions until you have tried the problems.

Note. If your browser does not support HTML 4.0 character entity references,
then many mathematical symbols in these tests will appear as the wrong characters.
As at November 2000, only the Windows versions of Microsoft's Internet Explorer
versions 4, 5 and 5.5 and Netscape 6 seem able to show all of the proper characters.
Netscape Communicator 4.76 seems to display some characters. If you experience
difficulty displaying any of these tests, you may update your browser, or
ask me for a hardcopy of any test. RH
