Wei Cheng received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the George Washington University in 2010, and B.S. degree in Applied Mathematics, M.S. degree in Computer Science both from National University of Defense Technology, China, in 2002 and 2004. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University. He has worked as a Postdoc Scholar at University of California Davis. His research interests span the areas of Security and Cyber-Physical Systems. In particular, he is interested in HCI based Security, Location Privacy Protection, Smart Cities, and Underwater Networks.
