About the Computer Center
The computer center is located in the Pocahontas Building located at 900 East Main Street.



Shown below are some of the platforms we support. From left to right, top to bottom: The mainframe, the mainframe and AS/400, a server rack, a second server rack. In one of these racks is the server that is hosting this web page.



Shown below are some of the tape components that backup the data in the computer center. From left to right, top to bottom: The inside of the largest of the automated tape libraries, the outside of the same automated tape library, the tape library used to store tapes not currently in use, and manual tape drives used by the mainframe.



Shown below are two of the four printers in the computer center used to produce mainframe output. These two printers are high output lazer printers connected to the mainframe via TCPIP.
