Where does the observed system stop and the measuring instrument begin?
It seems to have something to do with size and mass.
Large, human-scale objects do not seem to show wave-like properties.
Drive a truck slowly enough and it will show an interference pattern after passing through the gates of a toll plaza. However, you would have to wait for longer than the universe will last to see such a slow truck actually get through the gates.
Einstein did not like quantum theory, saying "God does not play dice with the universe."
In fact it appears that he not only plays dice but changes the rules when we are not looking!
