Graph Theory and Biology: Tree Sex

Abstract
Abstract: In this talk I will present a biological problem, discuss some graph theory, and suggest how graph theory can enlighten us about some interesting and fundamental questions in a particular biological process: Tree Sex. This talk will focus on several open problems dealing with research supported by a NSF grant titled "Unifying the Two-Generation Analysis to Pollen Movement: Analysis of Insect Mediated Pollen Dispersal in The Understory Tree Cornus florida L."
