MISSION: Laboratory efforts are focused on elucidating the function
of the musculoskeletal system, in normal, injured and repaired states and devising
creative ways to restore normal function through interdisciplinary approaches.

Facility Location

The Orthopaedic Research Laboratory occupies approximately 2300 square feet of laboratory/office space on the MCV campus of Virginia Commonwealth University.  This space is located in McGuire Annex at the corner of 11th and East Clay Streets.  The Molecular/Biochemistry labs are on first and third floors; Biomechanics laboratories are on third and basement level floors. Offices for the following are in rooms: 325 (Dr. Wayne); 323 (Dr. Jiranek).
