I became interested in journalism because I want to work really hard and not make any money for it. My primary interest lies in environmental journalism. On top of that, I want to educate people and free their minds; it's quite simple.

My career goals are as follows:

1. To learn how to write, existentially speaking, without the word is.

2. To intern this summer in the mountains of Virginia.

3. To acquire a position at a newspaper, wire service or online organization where I can use my Spanish speaking skills.
