Donor No. 22: Realtors PAC of Virginia - $102,367 |

The Realtors Political Action Committee of Virginia gave $102,367 to 104 legislators for last year’s elections. The group was the 22nd-largest donor to members of the General Assembly.
The Realtors PAC gave $59,110 to 61 Republicans and $41,757 to 42 Democrats. Independent Delegate Lacey Putney got $1,500.
Seventy of the 100 House members received donations from the Realtors, totaling $63,407. Among House members, the top recipents were:
Franklin Hall, D-Richmond - $4,000.
Alan Diamonstein, D-Newport News - $3,650.
Vance Wilkins, R-Amherst - $3,020. In January, when Republicans took control of the House, Wilkins was elected speaker.
Of the 40 senators, 34 shared $38,960 in contributions from the Realtors PAC. The senators who got the most money from the Realtors PAC were:
Martin E. Williams, R-Newport News - $3,535.
Richard L. Saslaw, D-Springfield - $2,900.
Linda T. Puller, D-Mount Vernon - $2,500.
Sen. Martin E. Williams, R-Newport News; Sen. Yvonne Miller, D-Norfolk; and Sen. Janet Howell, D-Reston - $2,250 each.
