I enjoy both editing and reporting, but editing is my calling at this point in my life. I'd like to start on the copy desk at a metro daily, move into reporting when I get the urge and the confidence and eventually end up in management. I'd love to end up back in town at the Richmond Times-Dispatch. I was a Dow Jones copy editing intern last summer at the Chronicle-Tribune in Marion, Ind., and I served as a news editor and later as the executive editor of VCU's student newspaper, the Commonwealth Times.
