How do I make the text on the screen
bigger/smaller?
If you're looking at an HTML file (a web
page), then you have two options:
- In Netscape, hit Ctrl-] to make the text
a bit bigger or Ctrl-[ to make it a bit smaller. Hitting the
key combination multiple times can make a big difference.
- Change the font size. In Netscape, go
to preferences (In Edit menu in Netscape 4.5), and click
on fonts (you may first have to click on Appearance.
Then set the Variable Width Font to a number bigger or
smaller, according to your preferences.
If you're looking at a PDF file, then click
on the magnifying glass tool to make the text larger or click
on the same tool with the Ctrl key depressed to make the text
smaller. Multiple clicks have cumulative effects.
