What's going to be on the exams?
Exam questions are inspired from the problem
sets. The names are changed, the conditions might be a bit different,
leading to different answers, but if you know how to do
the problems in the problems sets, you should do great on the
exams.
We hope that there is a good correlation
between mastering the problems and doing well on the exams. Is
there?

- Problem sets teach you how to answer the
questions faced on the exam. If you did not do the problem sets,
then you would not do well on the tests.
- The problem sets were the best thing for
enforcing the concepts covered on the tests... by far. I learned
the most from the problem sets.
- It wasn't so simple that having the answers
got you test ansers; you had to really know how to produce the
answers, because a lot of test questions were different. If you
weren't much of a problem solver, you didn't do well.
