Objectives of course Multiple:
  • Help you make progress along the long road towards becoming an independent agent, a producer of new insights and solutions
  • Help you realize that new insights require separating observations from suppositions and that this is within your grasp
  • Help you internalize the basics of molecular biology in such a way that you may use them in the future

Time and Place Class: TR 11:00 AM - 12:15 PM, Harris Hall 3142
TA sessions: Mondays & Wednedays 6:30-8:00pm, Cabell Library (Rm 240d)
                     Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:30-8:00pm Computer Lab (Harris 3112)
                     (plus possibly other times on request)
Prerequisites None, but Phage Lab (BNFO 251/252) certainly doesn't hurt
At whom is the course aimed? The course is aimed at anyone who wants, including:
  • Bioinformatics majors
  • Those who are inclined towards the objectives of the course
  • Those who have their own good reasons
