TWO COVENANTS
The first covenant originated from the fall of Adam
and Eve and their having
eaten of the tree that contained the knowledge of good
and evil. To cover the
shame (sin) of Adam and Eve, God made coats of
skins so their nakedness
would be covered. God used the skins of animals that God
had sacrificed on
their behalf, see Gen.3:21. The animal (lamb) that
God sacrificed to cover the
sins of Adam and Eve was a sign of the Lamb of God that
would come to die
for the lost sinner. The blood of Christ would atone for
the lost sinner that
their sins may be blotted out (covered) by the
sacrifice of himself in the place
of the sinner.
When God made clothing with the skins to cover the
nakedness (sin) of Adam
and Eve, an example was presented to them of what God
expected as offerings
for their sins. There was a day when Cain brought an
offering to God, being of
the fruit of the ground, and Abel brought his offering
being a firstling (firstborn)
of his flock of sheep. The Lord had respect unto
Abel’s offering, but unto
Cain’s offering the Lord had no respect. Cain was
not wise in offering the fruit
of the ground, since the forgiveness of man’s sin
was through the atoning blood
of the sacrificial animals which pointed to Christ (Lamb
of God) who would
come and be sacrificed to cleanse the sins of the sinner.
Therefore, the Lord
could not accept Cain’s offering as stated in
Gen.4:3-5.
The reason for the flood in the days of Noah, was
because the daughters of
Cain were taken for wives by the sons of Adam (sons of
God); thereby the
Sons of Adam brought forth children (seed) that
had the mind of Cain, see
Gen.6:1-6. The generation that followed (because the
Sons of Adam took
wives of the daughters of Cain) was a generation that
forgot the Lord and
his offerings, therefore it repented the Lord that he had
made man on the earth,
see Gen.6:6. The earth was full of wickedness in
departing from the Lord’s
ways. God chose Noah to build an ark, and to gather into
the ark the animals
and people who would heed unto Noah’s message. The
Lord was going to
destroy the earth by a flood of waters, see Gen.7:1-4.
After all life was destroyed upon the earth by a
flood,the waters were dried
from the face of the earth. God blessed Noah and his sons
and they went
forth from the ark and became fruitful and multiplied,
replenishing the earth
with people, see Gen.8:16,17; 9:1.
Noah (being the one God had chosen to establish his
covenant, see
Gen.6:18), upon leaving the ark immediately built an
altar unto the Lord,
and offered from every clean beast and every clean fowl,
an offering unto
the Lord. The Lord smelled a sweet savour, and God vowed
that the earth
would not be destroyed again by a flood of water (see
Gen.8:20-22). Noah
having reinstated the sacrificial services which atoned
for the sins of man,
pleased God. God then established the covenant with Noah,
see Gen.9:11-17.
The Lord called Abraham out of Ur of the Chaldees to
make Abraham’s seed
inherit the Promised Land (see Gen.12:1-3,7). God
established his covenant
with Abraham, see Gen.17:2-7. Abraham was told to offer
up Isaac as a
sacrifice in Gen.22:2. God was testing Abraham’s
faith. God stopped the hand
of Abraham (who was about to sacrifice Isaac) and
instead of Isaac, God
provided Abraham with a ram to slay upon the altar, see
Gen.22:13. The ram
and all sacrifices of clean animals foreshadowed the Son
of God (Lamb) who
would come to fulfill the types (shadows) that
pertained to the slaying of animals.
The ultimate sacrifice was that God would send his own
son (Lamb of God) to
die in the place of the sinner. All the sacrifices
pointed unto the Son of God
(Christ), who would take the place of the lost
sinner by dying in the sinner’s
place. The covenant was continued through the seed of
Abraham, being Isaac
and Jacob. The covenant was continued through
Jacob’s twelve sons, being
the seed which the twelve tribes came out of.
The seed (children) of the twelve sons of Jacob
became the twelve tribes of
Israel with whom God established his covenant. The twelve
tribes of Israel
were to keep the covenant of God, that they may be a
peculiar people, see
Ex.19:5,6. The first covenant that required the slaying
of sacrificial animals
and sanctuary services, including the keeping of feast
days, new moons, and Sabbaths, foreshadowed things to
come (in the latter days).
The sacrifices of animals upon the altar of the Lord
foreshadowed the sacrifice
of God’s son, being the ultimate sacrifice for
mankind. The Christ of 2,000
years ago, came to fulfill the sacrificial law that
pointed unto himself since he
was the sacrifice of God that removes the sins from
humans, see Jn.1:29. The
covenant that Christ of 2,000 years ago came to fulfill,
was the first covenant
which required the sinner to bring a lamb or other
sacrificial animal and offer it
as a sacrifice for their sins.
Christ came to gather his elect and then die for the
sins of the people as
foreshadowed in the sacrificing of animals. After the
death and resurrection
of Christ 2,000 years ago, the first covenant (testament)
was fulfilled in
Christ. Since the Kingdom of God was not set up at that
time (when all sin
and evil would cease), a new covenant was established
through the atoning
blood of Christ.
Under the new covenant there is no need to bring a
lamb or other animals to
offer up for the sinner, as Christ of 2,000 years ago had
already fulfilled the
first (old) covenant, see Heb.9:15. In the new
covenant, a sinner would pray
to Christ and Christ would then mediate for the sinner
before the throne of
God, by applying his atoning blood before God to
intercede for those that
are now under the new covenant. It is evident that Christ
has died for those
that were sacrificing animals under the first covenant,
and thereafter mediated
for those who are under the new covenant.
There was still to be a sacrifice for those under the
new covenant, since the
death of Christ 2,000 years ago only covered the sins of
those under the first
(old) covenant and was mediating for those under the
new (second) covenant.
It is therefore of necessity that the Spirit of Christ be
manifested in the flesh in
the latter days, to die again for those who are under the
new covenant. The
first covenant required a literal fulfillment of all the
Levitical law which John
the Baptist (morning lamb) and Christ (evening
lamb) concluded.
The slaying of animals with all the temple services in
the first covenant, were
literally performed so the people under the new covenant
would understand
their meaning. Those under the new covenant were not to
literally fulfill the
rituals of the old covenant providing they understood
that Christ had brought
the first covenant to its literal conclusion.
Under the first covenant if a person ate any unclean
animal then they were
eating an abomination. Under the new covenant anyone
receiving false
knowledge were spiritually eating an abomination (unclean
food). The
Levitical food which the people under the first covenant
were required to
observe, represented the spiritual clean food contained
in the Seven Seals
Scroll. The defiling of the literal sanctuary of the
first covenant represents
the people who have a false belief within their spiritual
sanctuary (mind).
In Ex.29:38,39, there are two lambs that were
sacrificed every day, throughout
generations. The one lamb was sacrificed in the morning,
which foreshadowed
the sacrifice of John the Baptist (spirit of Gabriel)
for the sins that were
committed under the first covenant. The morning lamb also
represented the
latter day Man-child (spirit of Michael) who was
killed on April 19th 1993,
for the sins that were committed under the new covenant.
The Lamb of Ex.29:39 that was sacrificed in the
evening represents the sacrifice
of Christ (spirit of Michael) who died for the
sins committed during the old
testament period. The evening lamb of Ex.29:39, also
represents the sacrifice
of the latter day Chosen Vessel, who is to be killed in
the spiritual wilderness
for the sins committed in the new testament period.
The morning sacrifice of Ex.29:39 represents the goat
which the Lord’s lot fell
on, this goat (Man-child) was slain upon the altar
(Fifth Seal, see Rev.6:9)
of sacrifice on the day of atonement, see Lev.16:7-9. The
evening lamb of
Ex.29:39 represents the scapegoat (Chosen Vessel)
who was taken into the
wilderness, see Lev.16:10,21. The evening and morning
sacrifice is also
mentioned in Chr.16:40; 2 Chr.2:4; 13:11; Ps.141:2.
In Ex.17:3, the people that came out of Israel
thirsted for water. Moses (type
of the Chosen Vessel) was told to take his Rod and
smite the rock, see
Ex.17:6. The scenario of Moses smiting the rock as God
had commanded
him, is the same event recorded in Num.20:8. Moses was
told to take his
Rod and speak unto the rock before smiting it, see
Ex.17:6. Moses being
obedient unto God’s instruction smote the rock (TWICE),
see Num.20:11.
The smiting of the rock TWICE, is symbolical of Christ (spirit
of Michael)
having to die twice; once for the sins that were under
the first covenant, and
the second time in the latter days (as the Man-child)
for the sins under the
new covenant.
Moses sinned in Num.20:10, as Moses and Aaron took the
credit for supplying
the waters from the rock, saying, ‘must WE (Moses
and Aaron) fetch you
water out of this rock?’ Moses sinned by not giving
the glory (credit) to God,
as God was the provider of the water, not Moses and
Aaron. Therefore,
because God was not glorified before the faces of the
Israelite people (in that
Moses had not included God in the giving of the water),
the Lord did not
allow Moses and Aaron to enter with the people into the
Promised Land, see
Num.20:12.
Nowhere does it state that God was angry with Moses
for smiting the rock.
On the contrary, God told Moses to speak to the rock then
to smite it, as
mentioned in Ex.17:6. The Rock that was smitten twice
represented the
Messiah who would die twice, see 1Cor.10:4. The Rock that
Moses smote
twice symbolized the death of Christ 2,000 years ago for
the sins committed
under the first (old) covenant and the latter day
Lamb (Man-child) who was
killed on April 19th 1993, for the sins of
those under the new (second) covenant.
The Apostle Paul states in Heb.9:14, that the offering
of Christ’s body (being
a perfect sacrifice and having died and resurrected)
made Christ the
mediator of the new covenant (testament) see
Heb.9:15. Christ’s death
cleansed (atoned) the sins (transgressions)
that were committed during
the FIRST covenant (testament), being the redeemer
of those under the
first covenant. The blood of Christ 2,000 years ago,
atoned for the sins of
the people that had sacrificed animals under the first
covenant. Christ has
only mediated for those under the new covenant (testament).
There are
two covenants: a first (old) and a new (second).
There must be two deaths
(sacrifices) according to Heb.9:16. A covenant is
of no use if the redeemer
does not die for it, see Heb.9:17.
Christ of 2,000 years ago offered himself to bear the
sins of MANY (not all),
as he died for those under the first covenant, see
Heb.9:28, ref. to Christ
dying for MANY. The latter day Lamb appeared again, and
was sacrificed
for those under the new covenant, as prophesied in
Heb.9:28. The latter day
Lamb was manifested according to scripture therefore he
was sinless, since
he could only do that which was written of him. The
latter day Messiah was to
experience sin, however he is still sinless before God,
as it was written by the
Prophets. The Lamb fulfilled the prophecies that were
written of himself, see
Ps.40:7,12; 51:4, thereby being obedient and sinless
before God.
You would think that starting a premeditated fight
using a whip (string of
chords) within the courtyard of God’s sanctuary
would be a sinful act of
violence. However, this act committed by Christ 2,000
years ago, was the
fulfillment of the prophetic Word; see Jn.2:15,16,17, and
Ps.69:9.
The Christ of 2,000 years ago stated unto his Apostles
that he had many
things which he would like to tell them but they could
not bare them, see
Jn.16:12. The things that Christ wanted to tell his
Apostles, were the things
that related unto his Spirit. Christ’s Spirit was to
manifest itself in human
flesh a second time. Christ stated unto his Apostles that
he would send the
Spirit of Truth, which would show them the things to come
(future).
The events of the future are written from Rev.4:1
through to Rev.22:21 which
reveals the second manifestation of the Lamb in the
flesh. The latter day Lamb
revealed the Seven Seals Scroll before the coming of the
great and dreadful
day of the Lord. The latter day Lamb is the Elijah
Messenger of Mal.4:5. The
Spirit of Truth (Holy Spirit) revealed to the
Apostle John the things of the future
as foretold by Christ, see Jn.16:13. The Spirit that
Christ spoke of is the same
Spirit of Truth that revealed unto John (the
Revelator) the things to come, see
Rev.1:19; 4:1, ref. to the things which shall be
hereafter (future of A.D.90).
The ‘hereafter’ were things to come in the
FUTURE of A.D.90. A.D.90 was
about the time that the Apostle John received the visions
that related to the
end times (our day). From chapter four of
Revelation, until the end of chapter
twenty-two, are events recorded by John that concerned
the future
manifestation of the latter day Lamb and the Chosen
Vessel gathering
the redeemed.
In Rev.12:5 it speaks of a Man-child being born
who WAS to rule all nations
with a Rod of Iron (two edge sword). The Man-child
is the latter day Lamb
that came to reveal the Seven Seals Scroll in the latter
days (our day) who was
killed on April 19th 1993 for the sins that
are under the new covenant. The new
covenant began in the days of the Apostles and has
continued until now.
This generation (last generation) will see
God’s Kingdom (New Jerusalem)
arrive in great majesty and glory. The Man-child of
Rev.12:5 was symbolized
by the rock of Num.20:11 that was smitten a second time.
The latter day Lamb
had to die for the sins that are under the new covenant (testament).
The last book of the Bible is called the Revelation of
Jesus Christ. The
book (scroll) of Revelation will reveal the latter
day Messiah (Man-child
of Rev.12:5) who came with his Seven Seals Scroll and
revealed the scroll
unto his Bride (followers), see Rev.22:12;
Isa.40:10; Ps.40:3,7. The Seven
Seals Scroll is the Hidden Manna of Rev.2:17, which was
Sealed (hidden)
in Rev.5:1. Those that eat of the Hidden Manna will
receive the Lamb’s
New Name in their foreheads, see Rev.14:1.
Those who overcome the Abomination (false doctrine
of Christendom)
by partaking of the Hidden Manna will have God’s
surname written in
their forehead, see Rev.2:17. Christ is represented by
the Manna that
came down from heaven, see Jn.6:51,58. The golden pot
that contained
the Manna was one of the sacred items hidden inside the
ark, see Heb.9:4.
The ark was built in the image of God’s throne.
The latter day Lamb (the
Hidden Manna revealed in the latter days), comes from
the midst of the
throne, see Rev.5:6. The revealing of the latter day
Messiah is mentioned by
Christ Jesus in Lk.17:30 and Mt.24:28, as well as in the
writings of those
who experienced Christ 2,000 years ago. These men were
waiting for the
manifestation of the latter day Messiah, see 1Cor.13:12,
1Pet.1:5, and
2Pet.1:19.
Christ comes in the latter days with a New Name that
only he knows. The
New Name is found in the Word of God, as he is the Word
made flesh, see
Rev.19:12,13. The New Name is given to those who overcome
the false
doctrine of Christendom, see Rev.2:17. The Lamb comes in
the volume of
the book as it is written of him, see Ps.40:7.
The latter day Lamb is revealed to be a sinner, see
Ps.40:7,12. Humans will
have no excuses in the judgment, for God has given
mankind the perfect
mediator (His Son), who was manifested as one of
us (a sinner). God will
be completely clear when he judges, as God understands
the sinner by
looking through the eyes of the latter day Lamb. Ask
yourself, as a sinner,
could you say this to God? That your sins help God to be
justified when
he speaks, and clear when he judges? See Ps.51:4.
