The Virginia Chapter of the ASA (VA-ASA) was formed in 2017.

The inaugural Fall Chapter meeting of the VA-ASA is scheduled at the campus of the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) on October 19, 2018. The keynote speaker is Prof. Ronald D. Fricker, Jr. from VA Tech Statistics.
