The smallest distance between two notes on the keyboard is called a half step (or semitone): Notice that there are two places on the keyboard where there is no black key inbetween two white keys (E-F and B-C). For the following notes, try to find the keys that are a half step higher (move the mouse pointer over the image to see the correct answers): For the same pitches, find the notes that are a half step lower:
