Notes on the grand staff correlate with specific notes on the keyboard. To orient yourself, you must first find middle c on your keyboard. This is the c that is found near the middle of the piano (usually below the manufacturer's name). The following diagram shows the relationship between the notes on the grand staff and the keyboard.
