I am a visiting assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics & Applied Mathematics at the Virginia Commonwealth University. I received my PhD degree from University of Houston, Department of Mathematics. My Ph.D. advisor is Vern Paulsen. I have also MS and BcS degrees in mathematics from Bilkent University, Department of Mathematics. My MS Thesis advisor is Aurelian Gheondea.


Research Interests: Functional Analysis and Operator Algebras: my research focuses on tensor products of operator systems and operator algebras, nuclearity related properties. Applications concern Quantum Information Theory and non-commutative probability theory.
