This course, GTY 601, provides an overview of the biology and physiology of aging with an emphasis on biological theories of aging; cellular, physical, systemic, and sensory changes with aging, and health maintenance.
The course instructor for this course will be Dr. Stephen W. Harkins, Professor for the Department of Gerontology. This is a three credit, graduate level course and it is designed for students already accepted into the graduate Certificate in Aging Studies program.

This off-campus course will be available to off-campus students via videotaped classes.
