Each student's online sketchbook will be linked to this page, under his or her name. This will allow you all to explore each other's work as well as your own. You will each be required to post with a brief update every 2 weeks. However, you do not have to include pictures in each update. You may use as many pictures as you wish, so long as the uploading process does not take up your class time that you should be using to work mostly on other projects. Keep in mind also that the more pictures you put on your web page, the longer it will take to load. I'm not asking for anything fancy - just the basics, so that I can keep tabs on the work that each of you is making, and the directions that you want to go. Being an independent study class, this is often difficult to do, and I want to be able to offer all of you suggestions and updates on your progress. I can only do this if you are informative about what you are doing.
This does not mean that I will not be looking at your work in class, or your actual sketchbooks, in addition to what you post in your online sketchbooks. Each of these elements allows me to see a different aspect of your developing styles and explorations, and will help me give you better suggestions and analyses of your progress in the class.
