RHYTHM PROJECT ASSIGNMENT
The rhythm project assignment involved finding an example of continuing rhythm that was either found in nature or was contrived by man. I selected a series of mountain peaks and extended the rhythm of the peak's flow by expanding my canvas in photoshop. I then used various cloning and copying tools to recreate the mountain peaks and valleys so that a definite flow, or rhythm, evolved. As a final step, I played with various artistic warping tools to alter the look of my mountain range. Solarizing the image created the coolest look in my opinion, but other examples of the artistic warping techniques I experimented with appear below.
